On 11th July Gary Munroe will be giving members a talk about Keighley’s Masonic Lodge.
Doors to the Lodge will be opened at 6.30 in order to allow members ample opportunity to take a look around this fascinating building. The bar will be open for refreshments at the end of Gary’s talk.
The first meeting of the masons in Keighley dates back to 1788. Keighley’s Masons originally met in the Devonshire Arms and later the Lord Rodney. The foundation stone for the current lodge was laid in 1896 with the building completed and in use the following year.
This meeting is being held at the Masonic Lodge.
